WHAT IS CONSTRUCTION SKILLS QUEENSLAND (CSQ) FUNDING?
Our CSQ Funded Programs are targeted to existing workers in the building and construction industry to assist in career development and is designed to help you gain new skills and knowledge.
CSQ FUNDING STUDENT CONTRIBUTION FEE
Student Contribution Fees represent the total non funded subsidised portion of essential training costs for the participant to undertake the training. These fees include tuition, services, materials and all other costs associated with delivering the training and the awarding of the qualification/statement of attainment to the participant.

What is the Higher Level Skills Program?
Our UEE40420 Certificate IV in Electrical – Instrumentation course is funded by the Queensland Government and aims to assist individuals to gain the higher-level skills required to secure employment or career advancement in a priority industry, or to transition to university to further their studies.

Are you Eligible to Participate?
This program is open to any Queensland resident aged 15 years or over, who is no longer at school and is an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or Australian permanent resident (including humanitarian entrants), or a temporary resident with the necessary visa and work permits on the pathway to permanent residency. Prospective students must not have or be enrolled in a Certificate IV or higher-level qualification, not including qualifications completed at school, foundations skills training or qualifications completed under the electrical training package.

KEYSTONE TASMANIA – KEYSTONE TRAINING REBATE!
WHAT IS kEYSTONE TRAINING REBATE?
Keystone Tasmania, which is the trading name of the Tasmanian Building and Construction Industry Training Board, is established by the Building and Construction Industry Training Fund Act 1990. Keystone funds specified categories of training for eligible Tasmanian building and construction industry businesses.

How much is the rebate?
For the financial year 2024-25, the Keystone training rebate ranges from 30% to 50% of the total out-of-pocket training fee per participant who successfully completes the training.
Keep in mind that individuals residing outside Tasmania are not eligible for rebates.
Apply directly through Keystone for any applicants residing in Tasmania only.

Jetco Funding
If you are a member of CIRT (Contracting Industry Redundancy Trust) and you/your employer contribute to the JETCO levy, you are entitled to a scale of subsidies for approved industry based training. CIRT Members are eligible for a certain amount of JETCO funding per financial year to assist with training costs across the following courses in which are taught by Volt Edge:
- Hazardous Areas (EEHA)
- Hazardous Areas Refresher (EEHA Refresher)
- High Voltage Switching Operations
- Certificate IV in Electrical – Instrumentation
CIRT applies on major building projects on which a site allowance is applicable (E.g.
