UEE31220 Certificate III In Instrumentation and Control
Course Description
The UEE31220 – Certificate III in Instrumentation and Control qualification provides competencies to select, install, set up, test, fault find, repair and maintain systems and devices for measurement and recording of physical/chemical phenomenon and related process control.
To be eligible to undertake the course you must currently hold an Australian Unrestricted Electrical Licence.
Possible job roles associated with Certificate III in Instrumentation and Control include Instrument Fitter, Instrument Technician, Plant Instrumentation Technician, Plant Operator, Process Instrumentation Technician & Maintenance Instrumentation Technician.
Content Delivery
Approximately 120 Hrs of online self-paced learning and approx. 1 week of face to face practicals.
NOTE: This will vary with experience and capabilities of different students.
This course consists of two stages;
STAGE 1:
The first stage is completed online self-paced through VE LMS which is completely flexible and self-paced and equates to approximately 120 hrs of online learning.
STAGE 2:
The second stage of the assessment is a one week intensive practical assessment with smaller class sizes, allows students the time to gain the required experience.
For students requiring a second week, this can be booked seperately.
Our practicals have been created to ensure students gain valuable hands on experience ready for the workplace.
Practical training for students includes a final capstone assessment. Students have 2 attempts at the practical capstone assessment, further attempts are charged at $500.00 per day/attempt. Our Training Coordinators will let you know which days you will be required depending on your Electives and other competencies already completed.
