This Volt Edge training course is suited to fully qualified Electricians looking to gain knowledge and experience in the field of instrumentation and systems installed in the Australian Mining, Process, Oil and Gas Industries. Providing the skills and knowledge to be able to select, install, set up, test, fault find, repair and maintain systems and devices for measurement and recording of physical/chemical phenomenon and related process control.

Course Duration and Assessment Methods:

  • Theory external studies (Online, Self-Paced–May take up to 6 weeks full time to complete)
  • Practical Assessments (conducted at a Volt Edge Training Centre – May take up to 3 weeks to complete o Simulated work environment using the latest live equipment o Length of time to complete will vary depending on number of units required∙
  • The practical component is currently available in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne training locations.

Upon successful completion of the theory and practical components you will be issued with a Nationally Recognised Qualification in UEE31211 Certificate III in Instrumentation and Control.
